Conflicting Emotions
“On a trip to Girdwood, AK, last March, we got to ski this amazing spine zone that’s tough to get in the right conditions. I had crashed on a line earlier in the day, so this was kind of a redemption run to get back on the horse, shake out the cobwebs and dial back in. The upper half of the run had some technical terrain. I got a little wild, smashed into a spine and flew out onto this panel with some speed. This turn was a moment of relief, bleeding some of that speed and resetting for the lower spine.”—Sage Cattabriga-Alosa
