      If you’re going to ride North America’s longest T-bar, you should definitely bring a snowboarder with you.
That is my slightly cruel thought as I listen to my sideways-sliding buddy, Al, grit out the worst lift ride of his life. From one T behind I can hear his whimpers each time he crests a roll and sees that we still have a long way to go. When we finally crest the top, I find him crumpled in the snow moaning. I poke him with my pole. “I need a minute,” he grunts.
