Heart Full Of Love
Colby Stevenson Beyond Recovery Hill

I’ve been with Colby Stevenson for less than 12 hours, and I already wish I’d brought more shoes. Not different shoes. Just more of them. And a collared shirt.
A few hours earlier, I was wearing bike shoes on tacky singletrack below Guardsman Pass, high above Colby’s hometown of Park City, UT. Now, we’re walking down a dusty trail behind his childhood home with his mom and stepdad. Afterwards, we’ll put in a quick workout at the Center of Excellence, the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team’s training facility, then we’ll meet up with some friends for pickleball. We need to be done by 3:30 p.m., though—Colby has a 5 p.m. tee time at Purgatory Golf Club, and I still need to find some appropriate golf attire.
When you’re hanging with Colby, sneakers and T-shirts just don’t cut it. Today’s schedule is normal for the 27-year-old, who tries to get in at least three different activities each day (something his mom calls the “trifecta”).
