Hiding In Plain Sight
 
              Secret spots are gold—a currency that gives their owner an inside edge. Where did you catch that fish? Find that powder stash? That hot spring? The dwindling currency of secrecy has become a hot topic, more so with social media.
Of course, spring in Moab, UT, is not a well-guarded secret. While spring in Colorado means skiing, spring in the desert brings throngs of tourists bearing fat tires, rafts, and an entire rack of #2 cams. Aside from the growing quality of green chili, Moab has become, in our eyes, lame. Too busy. Too popular. Of course, Edward Abbey would say the same about my generation. And he did.
