Kids under 14 race free at the Little Jennie Ranch Skijor Competition outside Jackson, WY. It was an early March morning, and the kids—dressed up as leprechauns, superheroes and cowboys—were ready to go before the vendors had even finished setting up. “And they’re off!” the announcer yelled from underneath a Fu Manchu moustache, sporting a trench coat, cowboy hat and by the sound of it, a mouth full of dip.
