The Forre crew’s eighth and final ski film, Forrever was filmed over two winters in Finland, a 16-minute short highlighting some of the region’s best street skiers.
Finland (especially Helsinki) has long been a hotspot for street skiing. In TSKJ 19.4, we interviewed Arttu Heikkinen for the Gallerie feature Chasing Daylight with Arttu Heikkinen and he shared a few of the factors that made the small Nordic country. Aside from the fact that Finnish ski areas lean into the park scene already, Heikkinen added that Helsinki boasts a lot of unique architecture, abandoned buildings, a fair amount of winter snowfall and support (or better, lack of resistance) from the city.
Forrever features some of the best of the best from skiers like Joona Sipola, Anni Kärävä, Matias Suomi and more, packed with some of the most creative spots to lay down ski tracks we could possibly imagine.
